WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility Statement

Precision Phase Solutions is committed to providing website content and online features that are accessible to people with disabilities.

PPS works to improve the accessibility, usability, and clarity of its website so visitors can obtain housing information, learn about PPS, contact the organization, and access public website resources using a range of devices and assistive technologies.

Commitment & Standards

Accessibility Commitment

Precision Phase Solutions seeks to provide people with disabilities equal access to the information, communication methods, forms, and public features available through its website.

PPS intends to operate its website consistently with applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, applicable federal nondiscrimination requirements, applicable Florida nondiscrimination law, and other accessibility requirements that legally apply to PPS.

This statement does not limit any accessibility or disability-related right provided by applicable law.

Accessibility Standard

PPS seeks to design, maintain, and improve its website with reference to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is an ongoing technical goal and is not a representation that every page, document, feature, or third-party component currently conforms to every WCAG success criterion.

WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY

Accessibility Measures

Technical Accessibility Actions

PPS and its website provider seek to implement reasonable accessibility measures across the website, including:

  • Using semantic page headings and providing descriptive page titles.
  • Supporting keyboard navigation and providing visible keyboard-focus indicators.
  • Maintaining sufficient color contrast for readability.
  • Adding alternative text to meaningful images and marking decorative images appropriately.
  • Providing clear form labels and accessible error messages.
  • Avoiding color as the only way to communicate meaning.
  • Supporting text enlargement, browser zoom, and mobile reflow.
  • Providing accessible alternatives to CAPTCHA and testing major navigation controls.

Forms and Online Communication

PPS seeks to make its public website forms accessible through visible field labels, required-field indicators, keyboard-accessible controls, clear instructions, accessible error identification, and mobile-responsive layouts.

A person who cannot use a website form may contact PPS by telephone or email to request another reasonable communication method.

Report a Website Accessibility Problem

Alternative Access to Information

A person experiencing an accessibility barrier may request help locating information, information in another reasonably available format, help using a public form, telephone or email assistance, a description of an image or graphic, an accessible copy of a downloadable document, or another reasonable method of communication.

PPS will review accessibility requests individually and will work to provide a reasonable alternative when required and reasonably available. A person is not required to disclose a diagnosis or extensive medical information to report a website barrier.

Requested Information

When reporting an accessibility barrier, please provide the following information when available:

  • Name and preferred contact method
  • Page title and URL
  • Description of the problem
  • Device or browser used
  • Assistive technology used (providing this is optional)
  • Requested alternative format or assistance

Scope & Clarifications

Third-Party & Documents

The website may link to or display content controlled by independent organizations, such as government agencies and social-media platforms. PPS does not control every third-party website or platform. Users encountering barriers with third-party features or downloadable documents may contact PPS to request an accessible version or another reasonable method of accessing the available information.

Physical Accessibility

This Accessibility Statement concerns the PPS website and digital content. It does not represent that every PPS property, room, entrance, route, bathroom, parking area, or physical feature is accessible to every person or mobility device.

Reasonable Accommodation

Website accessibility and housing reasonable-accommodation requests are related but separate matters. A person seeking a reasonable accommodation connected to PPS housing should use the approved PPS reasonable-accommodation process or contact PPS directly.

GOVERNANCE & REVIEW

Governance & Review

Ongoing Review

Accessibility is an ongoing process. PPS may:

  • Review new pages and forms
  • Test navigation and forms
  • Correct identified barriers
  • Review uploaded documents
  • Evaluate third-party tools
  • Train authorized personnel
  • Update this statement
  • Monitor accessibility feedback

Automated testing alone does not establish accessibility. We require both automated accessibility testing and manual review, including keyboard testing. Where practical, we include testing with commonly used screen-reader technology.

PPS Response Process

PPS may:

  • Confirm receipt of the accessibility concern
  • Review the affected page or feature
  • Request limited clarification when necessary
  • Provide available information through an alternative method
  • Work with Digital Flow Solutions or another authorized provider to investigate the barrier
  • Document corrective action
  • Notify the person when a resolution or alternative is available

PPS will make reasonable efforts to review reported accessibility barriers and provide a response or alternative access as appropriate.

Florida-Law Clarification

PPS is a private Florida business. Florida laws specifically governing electronic information technology used by state agencies should not be represented as directly applicable to PPS unless legal counsel determines that a particular requirement applies. PPS will nevertheless seek to follow applicable federal and Florida nondiscrimination requirements.

No Retaliation

PPS will not retaliate against a person for reporting a website accessibility barrier, requesting accessible information, requesting a reasonable communication method, or exercising a legally protected disability-related right.
